For its 50th anniversary, Kahyangan Restaurant is collaborating with Hida Hagiwara Wagyu to introduce Indonesia’s first ever Hida Beef, offering guests a rare and extraordinary dining journey that pays homage to the restaurant's rich legacy of authentic Japanese cuisine and dedication to excellence.
As a testament to its longevity and consistency, Kahayangan has maintained its prestige as a renowned restaurant for leaders, luminaries and cuisine-lovers worldwide since 1974. Atop Wisma Nusantara's 28th-30th floors, it provides scenery, service and savor of the utmost quality in Jakarta. To honor that legacy, Kahyangan unveils two exclusive packages showcasing Hida Hagiwara Wagyu—a Japanese Wagyu so esteemed and rare, only 8 cattle are exclusively produced for Indonesia each year.
Famed for its delicate umami notes and superior depth of flavor, Hida Hagiwara Wagyu takes center stage in Kahyangan’s Shabu Shabu Package - IDR 1,788,000++ (for lunch only) and Teppanyaki Package - IDR 3,900,000++ for two people. Matched with its signature homemade Ponzu Sauce, these crafted dishes keep to the restaurant's innovative legacy.
With PT Global Pratama Wijaya bringing in Hida Hagiwara Wagyu to the country, this collaboration also marks a turning point in Indonesia’s culinary landscape. Strictly raised in Gifu Prefecture and with limited production beyond the most exceptional cuts, this halal-certified wagyu represents the pinnacle of Japanese beef, and thus a new chapter in luxury beef offerings for the culinary industry.
