Chinese New Year at Grand Hyatt Jakarta

Grand Hyatt Jakarta welcomes the Year of The Rat by inviting all to celebrate good fortune and happiness with a sumptuous feast and live entertainment and performances on 24 January 2020.

Any Chinese New Year celebration would not be complete without the traditional Yu Sheng dish of fish and shredded vegetables. It is said that the tossing of Yu Sheng symbolises prosperity and good fortune for years to come, and so the dish is a tradition that most will honour. In addition, the iconic five-star hotel has prepared a Prosperity Buffet that will pamper your palate with a number of scrumptious delicacies unique to Chinese New Year and other international selections from the live cooking stations buffet.

The Prosperity Buffet is available at IDR 728,000++ per person, while children aged 6 to 12 years old gets in at IDR 368,000++, inclusive of free-flowing selected juices, iced tea, iced water and Chinese tea at Grand Cafe.

To complete the festive feel, the Grand Lobby will host a live performance of by a melodious Chinese orchestra and five-time world champion lion dance troupe Kong Ha Hong, who will enchant the crowd with a Barongsai Meja performances. Cai Shen Ye, the God of Prosperity himself, will be making an appearance during dinner.
