A Taste of Indonesia's Coastline at Terumbu Seafood Terrace
A brief look at how Terumbu Seafood Terrace brings the many tastes of Indonesia's coastline right onto your plate.

The waters that surround Indonesia are among the richest in the world, and this is reflected in the abundance of seafood dishes in regional cuisine across the archipelago. Terumbu Seafood Terrace brings diners on a spice-filled sailing journey on the nation’s seas to savour these dishes.
Located on the 2nd floor of Cilandak Town Square, Terumbu Seafood Terrace brings the atmosphere of a coastal beach bungalow into Cilandak’s urban setting. With teal cushions and bamboo chairs laid beneath a thatch-roofed hut, the seafront scene has been set, creating a momentary laidback ‘escape’ within the city.
The menu at Terumbu Seafood Terrace is an exploration of the archipelago, their à la carte selections like a maritime tour of the vast coastline of Indonesia. From Sumatra, the classic Black Mussels with Padang sauce, a staple dish at Indonesian seafood restaurants and getting this right is a benchmark of quality — and they certainly get it right. That complex and rich Padang sauce hitting just the right level of heat. The Grilled Calamari with Dabu-Dabu Sambal is also a must try along with their Signature Fried Prawns with Chilli Garlic. For those who aren’t too keen on spicy food should try the Salted Egg Soft-Shell Crab and Mixed Rice Plate with Honey Soy Grilled Stingray served with plenty of side dishes to compliment, such as tempeh, corn fritters and egg.
The non-seafood options are equally impressive. Their Pounded and Seasoned Cassava Leaves with Torch Ginger and Anchovies offers a mouthful of flavours that one can’t find anywhere else, a refreshing side dish that matches well with the more heavy plates of Betawi Style Coconut Milk Soup with Australian Short Ribs and Beef Satay in Marrangi Sauce.
Finish off your meals with the refreshing options of Indonesia’s classic dessert from Es Selendang Mayang (ice dessert with chewy cakes, jackfruit, palm sugar and coconut juice) to Es Podeng (layered coconut ice cream with almond, jelly, avocado and bread) and everyone’s favourite Es Teler Terumbu (shaved ice with jackfruit, coconut meat and jelly, avocado and ice cream) served directly in a coconut shell. Traditional Drinks like Wedang Jahe, Kunyit Asam and Beras Kencur are also available for those who want to end the feast with a lighter note!
