Wine-filled Experience at Sugar & Spice

Those looking for an exquisite banquet in the city will find just so at Sugar & Spice  at InterContinental jakarta Pondok Indah in a dining experience with wine pairing during the three-day special event from 30 August to 1 September.

Wine Around this time aims to thrill the guest with one of Australia’s well-known family wineries De Bortoli while enjoying crafted cuisine prepared by the hotel's Executive Chef Christoph Pouls and his team.

Indulge the pairing of De Bortoli selection Sparkling Brut NV with the Boston lobster served with Mango & Sago Salsa and finished with Basil Espuma. A fresh seafood dish which will be perfect pairing with the finest DE bortoli selection. De Bortoli Sémillon Chardonnay is paired with fish dish,  the Line-Caught Catch of the Day with curried cauliflower mousseline, green asparagus and carrot butter.

Chef Christoph will also be serving duck breast served with pan-fried foie gras, pickled red cabbage and rosemary jus paired with De Bortoli Merlot. The fifth pairing matches the spicy flavour of De Bortoli Shiraz with high quality protein dish Australian Short Rib Rendang served with perkedel gagal, cherry tomatoes and roasted eggplant. A perfect yet classic harmony between beef and wine which always complement each other.

Wine Around will give the guest an opportunity to enjoy your wines and food in exclusive experience. For those wanting more options, guests also get to explore Sugar & Spice international buffet and savour the variety of cuisines that are on offer.
Wine Around is available for specific dining occasion; Friday night dinner in 30 August, brunch and dinner on 31 August, and bruchtime on 1 September. The wine pairing at Sugar & Spice is priced at IDR 680,000++ per person and includes four glasses of wine matched with four signature dishes.
