Savour Dim Sum The Right Way: Tien Chao's "Taste & Tea Symphony" Brunch Offerings
Tien Chao Restaurant at Gran Melia Jakarta partners with TWG Tea to create “Taste & Tea Symphony” dim sum brunch.

If there is a recommended beverage best paired with dim sum, tea would be the first one to appear in the suggestion. Traditionally, Chinese teas like jasmine, oolong and pu-erh, were the common companion for dim sum. It has even become a tradition often referred to as “yum-cha” in Cantonese, meaning “drinking tea”.
The renowned Tien Chao Restaurant at Gran Melia Jakarta celebrates this tradition by partnering with TWG Tea, the world’s leading luxury tea brand, in creating their special “Taste & Tea Symphony” dining experience that pairs exquisite dim sum menus by Chef Travis Loh with the finest TWG Tea selections for a memorable brunch.
For the “Taste & Tea Symphony” brunch, Chef Travis Loh, celebrated for his deep-rooted mastery in Chinese cuisine, has created a dim sum menu that showcases the essence of Cantonese gastronomy, enhanced by the aromatic and flavour teas by TWG.
These distinctive offerings include:
Follow Me Tea, a blend of the finest green tea and rare ginseng root crowned with royal pineapple notes. This tea will be paired with bean curd shrimp with cheese rolls, deep-fried fish balls, steamed fish balls and chicken xiao long bao.
