Off the Menu, On the Table: B3 Debuts a Two-Night Guest Chef Series

Great meals often begin with curiosity, and Baker Butcher Barista (B3) is inviting diners to experience something new with the launch of B3 Off-Menu. The new collaboration series opens the B3 kitchen to guest chefs, each invited to create a menu that reflects their own style while complementing the restaurant's cooking. Kicking off the series is B3 Off-Menu Vol. 1, featuring Katina Gelato founder, Kesia Putri.

One of the menu's highlights is “Mie Kepiting” Aglio Olio, which draws on Pontianak's beloved crab noodles, reworking the dish as aglio olio pasta topped with Alaskan snow crab, house-made crab fishballs, crab claw and crispy pangsit chips. The menu then moves to Slow-Grilled Barley-Fed Picanha, paired with suan cai-churri made from Chinese pickled cabbage and grilled napa cabbage seasoned with ginger, garlic, scallions, sesame and soy.

Chef Kesia rounds off the evening with two desserts rooted in Indonesian flavours. Ketan Hitam & Pandan Gelato Goreng combines bubur sumsum, black sticky rice crisps, biji salak and palm syrup, while Passion Fruit, Tea & Tofu layers roasted oolong panna cotta, osmanthus-infused longan, passion fruit granita and tofu gelato for a bright finish.

Available on 31 July and 1 August 2026 from 6 PM onwards, the complete seven-course Off-Menu experience is priced at IDR 695,000++ per person (regular price IDR 795,000++). Selected Off-Menu creations will also be available à la carte alongside B3 favourites during the collaboration.
