Hamburg Steak Specialist Ishigamaya Opens in Jakarta

PT Rizki Bukit Abadi has collaborated with the Japanese company to help open the brand’s first international outlet in Jakarta.

Located near the Japanese department store Lumine at Plaza Indonesia’s Level 5, Ishigamaya recently opened its doors for foodies in the capital to taste the premium quality of hamburg steak. Established in 2010, Ishigamaya hamburg steak has become popular in Japan—with diners queuing up in at the doors of the outlet to enjoy the minced beef dish baked in a special stone oven and served with vegetables.

Yukihito Sakase, who helms the kitchen, has created a special menu to celebrate the opening, including Napolitan Hamburg, Omelete Rice Hamburg, Gratin Hamburg, and Ishigamaya’s Signature Hamburg where all the options will be served with soup and salad. The specialty for Jakarta outlet is also the restaurant serves various sauces from original, teriyaki, cheese cream, napolitan to chef’s special sauce.

Furthermore, beside using premium imported beef only from the United States and Australia, the meat is grilled in a stone oven at high temperature to produce a crisp surface. The infrared rays generate a soft, tender texture on the inside.

For sweet treats, guests can choose molten cake with fondant chocolate or matcha with ice cream, or honey toast.
