An Open Invitation to September at 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird

If your September calendar is already looking a little too predictable, 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird has a few ideas. The hotel is filling the month with dinners worth lingering over, cocktails worth ordering twice, live music, workouts and a creative morning by the pool. In other words, you could come with a plan and still end up doing something completely different.

Start at COPA, where September has plenty of flavour. On 9 and 10 September, Smoke & Spices: The Latin-British Smokehouse Experience brings COPA together with Tom’s by Tom Aikens at The Langham Jakarta for two evenings of fire, smoke and spice. Staying at the hotel? Your room key gets you 10% off.

Then Chile takes over from 14–30 September with a Chilean Week Menu, starting from IDR 68,000++. If lunch is usually something you squeeze between meetings, perhaps this is the month to take your time. Lunch Breaks, available Monday to Saturday from 12–3 PM, gives you a good reason to do exactly that.

Sunday has its own plans. On 20 September, Un-Odd Sunday Brunch: From Chef Matias’ Table leads into Wine Journey Vol. 2: Chile, while 26 September brings Una Noche de COPA: Fire Grill Nights for an evening built around fire-grilled favourites.

And because one drink is rarely the end of the story, Oddbird Bar has plenty happening after dark. Odd Takeover welcomes Arey Barker of Ronin Gin on 5 September, followed by Alexis Sang, Regional Hendrick’s Gin Brand Ambassador for Southeast Asia, on 25 September. Spirit of Bali runs throughout September, with Negroni Week arriving from 22–29 September.

Prefer to keep things spontaneous? Odd Hour has cocktails from IDR 100,000 and 20% off selected bottled wines and spirits. Selected evenings bring The Highball Club and Gincredible Hour, while Kura Kura Beer gets the Oktoberfest treatment from 20 September to 5 October. Add live music from Tuesday to Saturday and suddenly heading home early seems like a questionable decision.

There is also a way to work off all that indulgence at VIDA Spa. High-Intensity Interval Training takes place on 5 September, followed by Strike & Flow: Muay Thai Session on 18 September. For something a little more creative, Flow Into Creativity: Yoga, Sound & Art Expression takes over Cabana by the Pool on 19 September, from 9 AM–12 PM. The three-hour session costs IDR 875,000++ per person.
