Spanish Vibes at Gala Laitna 2017

In order to fulfill their mission, AIA supports several different community projects each year and funds are typically raised through their social and special events, parties, and other charitable activities.

The Gala Latina is their main fundraising event. With your generous contribution you help them by improving the welfare and quality of life of the underprivileged children of Jakarta.

On 20 October at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, guests were introduced to the Latin culture at the Gala Latina 2017. From their arrival they were delighted with Caribbean cocktails and Latin flavors: the salon was decorated in a romantic ambiance and beautifully arranged tables. The night went on with free flow of wine and spirits, a fantastic dinner and wonderful performances featuring Bossa Nova, Flamenco, Tango, Salsa, Afro, Conga and of course a Colombian Band and DJ. The silent auction and raffles made the night more fun and exciting: airplane tickets, hotel vouchers iat different resorts, dinner vouchers in spectacular restaurants as well as furniture were some of the prizes that the guests could win thanks to the generous sponsors of the Association.

The gala was the relaunch of the Ibero American Association that has been working in Jakarta for 39 years gathering the Latin community and all of those who love to share love and enjoy a very vibrant culture. Next year, the board promises that the Gala Latina will be even more spectacular.

If you are interested in supporting the Ibero American Association, you can contact them thorugh their social media accounts on Instagram @aia_jakarta and Facebook aia.jakarta or via email at iberoamericanayakarta@gmail.com
