Hundreds of Students Across 30 Schools Compete in Biannual HighScope Cup
Hundreds of young athletes participated in HighScope Cup 2025 on 22-24 May 2025, making it 1 of Jakarta's largest student sports competitions.

The biannual HighScope Cup (HSCUP) returned with great enthusiasm from 22 to 24 May 2025, with middle and high school students from 30 HighScope schools taking part in an exciting medley of competitive sports.
Taking place at Sekolah HighScope Indonesia TB Simatupang, organised by the school’s own Student Council, the ninth annual HighScope Cup marked a major event on the school group’s academic calendar. With over 30 participating schools, hundreds of young athletes took part in one of the largest student sports competitions in Jakarta, showing off their prowess across different sports, from futsal, basketball and swimming.
Beginning with an opening ceremony, HSCUP 9 featured swimming races, futsal matches and basketball games as part of a competition, with excitement building across the full three days. To conclude, an awards ceremony and a festive closing event were held with musical performances by student bands and young artists from Sekolah HighScope Indonesia: Kecoa Darat, Horizone, Teenage Dream, Cherry Nights, Instrumental Tanpa Batas, and Henessy. Topping things off on a high note, world-famous DJ Dipha Barus appeared as the special guest star to set the crowd alive.
Symbolising the pinnacle of achievement and spirit among Jakarta’s youth, HighScope Cup 9 demonstrated that sports are not just about winning, but also about building character, spirit, and sportsmanship for the next generation, making them ready to face future challenges.
