Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Brings Oktoberfest to Life at Paulaner Bräuhaus Jakarta

It is time to put on your dirndls and lederhosen because Oktoberfest is making a grand return to Jakarta! From 27 September to 6 October 2024, Hotel Kempinski will bring a slice of Bavaria to Paulaner Bräuhaus Jakarta, and celebrate Oktoberfest right at the heart of the city. 

For this year’s celebration Paulaner promises to showcase the best of Bavarian culture, hearty cuisine, lively performances, and of course, an endless flow of freshly brewed beer. The festivities will kick off in true Oktoberfest style with the traditional Anstich ceremony, where General Manager Harald Fitzek will tap the first keg of the exclusive Oktoberfest Bier, specially brewed and flown in from Munich. This event marks the start of a 10-day celebration that blends Bavarian tradition with Jakarta’s vibrant social scene.

Entertainment for the event is headlined by the return of Edelweis Power, a lively Austrian band flown in to perform classic Oktoberfest tunes and traditional Bavarian music. Their spirited performances are the perfect backdrop to enjoy your evening with friends, colleagues, or loved ones. 

No Oktoberfest is complete without the Bavarian fare, and Paulaner Bräuhaus Jakarta has crafted a menu to match. Guests can indulge in traditional Wurst sausages, freshly baked pretzels, cold cuts, and of course, the festival favourite – succulent pork knuckles. Paired with Paulaner’s own freshly brewed beer, each meal promises to transport your taste buds straight to Munich.
