Contemporary Dutch Design at the New De Braga by ARTOTEL

ARTOTEL Group announced the addition of a new hotel to its portfolio. The de Braga, in Bandung, is the first brand under Curated Collections, a series of well-curated boutique hotels managed and operated by the group.
Located on Jalan Braga, Bandung, de Braga by ARTOTEL is the sixth hotel operated by ARTOTEL Group. The state-owned developer Wijaya Karya Gedung (WIKA Gedung), owns the property. The four-star hotel is ideal for those looking for excellent service. de Braga combines Dutch colonial aesthetics with contemporary local artworks which are well incorporated. de Braga by ARTOTEL stands tall at 14 stories with a classic design and modern minimalist interiors, finished with a touch of Art Deco. The hotel features 112 “ARTmazing studios” of various types, such as Studio 25, Studio 35, and de Braga Suite. All rooms have an LED TV, free wifi and Dolce Gusto coffee machines, in addition to the standard amenities. Guests can dine at KUNST Bistro and Terrace Cafe, both open 24 hours. There are also six function rooms (MEETSPACE), Swimming Pool, and Artsapce, the gallery that is been a part of the ARTOTEL brand. Similar to Artotel in Jakarta and Yogyakarta, de Braga’s interiors feature artworks from contemporary local emerging artists around the hotel. Artists include Addy Debil, Agugn, Argya Dhyaksa, Elfandiary, Erwin Windu Pranata, Radhinal Indra, and Riandy Karuniawan.
Botanica was the main concept of the artworks in tribute to Bandung, a city many refer to as “The City of Flowers’’ (Kota Kembang) which is also known for its vast, lush, tea plantations. “It is one of our milestones within our business development pipeline that ARTOTEL Group is able to build hotel at the biggest metropolitan city in the West Java. We are sure that de Braga will create a memorable accommodation experience in Bandung and can contribute to the city’s creative economy growth, staying true to our vision as a lifestyle brand in the Hospitality Industry,” CEO ARTOTEL Group Erastus Radjimin said in a press release.
